Margarita Sanchez Appointed to Panel of International Arbitrators of Leading ADR Institution in Latin America
WASHINGTON, DC.–December 11, 2015.– Margarita Sanchez has been appointed to the panel of international arbitrators of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce Centre for Arbitration and Conciliation (CAC-CCB). The appointment is effective for the 2015-2017 term. This prestigious appointment is a recognition of Ms. Sanchez’ strong track record in the field of international arbitration.

About Margarita Sanchez
Margarita, a dual Colombian-US national, has a wealth of experience in dispute resolution, and has served as counsel of numerous high-profile cases, including multi-million and multi-billion dollar disputes representing sovereign Latin American states and multinationals, under under most of the major institutional rules (ICSID, ICC, UNCITRAL).

She is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University, a frequent speaker on international arbitration and related international legal issues, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London.
Admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia and the Republic of Colombia, Margarita is a native Spanish speaker with extensive experience in civil and common law systems. She holds a JD from Universidad del Norte (Colombia) and an LLM in Law and Government from American University.
