WASHINGTON, DC.–September 18, 2017.– Margarita R. Sánchez who specializes in Latin American legal matters, has been recently appointed to the Panel of International Arbitrators of the El Salvador Chamber of Commerce and Industry Centre for Arbitration and Mediation.

This prestigious appointment is a recognition of Ms. Sanchez’ strong track record in the field of international arbitration, and reflects Latin America’s commitment to an inclusive and diverse roster of experienced arbitrators.

Ms. Sánchez is a dual Colombian-US lawyer with nearly twenty years of experience in Latin American legal matters. She has been repeatedly recognized as a leading practitioner in the U.S. and abroad by several publications including Chambers Global and Colombia’s Revista Dinero; making Latinvex’s 2015, 2016, and 2017 lists of ‘The Top 50 Female International Lawyers for Latin America’; Under her leadership, Disan received the Chambers & Partners award for Outstanding Firm for Furthering Women’s Advancement. In 2016 and 2017, she was named among the “25 Most Influential Hispanic Lawyers in the United States” by Latino Leaders Magazine.
