Sara Marino’s expertise doesn’t just go international. It takes to the seas. This Madrid-born powerhouse legal counsel has a background in maritime/ports law, plus plentiful practice in the worlds of corporate and international dispute resolution. And when we say “plentiful,” we mean it. Sara comes to the firm with well over a decade of on-the-ground (and in-the-water) experience.
Prior to her time with Disan, Sara was a senior legal counsel in the industrial and refining division of REPSOL, one of the world’s largest global energy companies. There, she led a team of four lawyers, advised on investments and international projects, acted as primary liaison with the Spanish authorities and regulators, and negotiated contracts like the pro that she is. And speaking of big companies, Sara keeps company with an impressively large family. She has both Spanish and Italian blood, so sisters, cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles are definitely not in short supply for this world traveler.
Sara credits her mixed education (part British, part Spanish) for her rich appreciation of diversity. She enjoys delving into different cultures and providing excellent support for her clients along the way. She also loves spending time with her husband and three kids. And cooking. And sailing, obviously.Biografia
